The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the goals of saving lives and protecting property during emergencies and disasters. The University of Akron has an active student chapter of IAEM for students who have in interest in fire protection, criminal justice, emergency management, and related disciplines.
